Any Given Day, the latest feature film from Beti Films, will world premiere at the Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto, Canada on April 29, 2021. The film will also compete in the Oscar-qualifying International Spectrum Competition, a curated competition of world and international premieres from around the globe.
Filmed over five years, Any Given Day focuses on Angela, Dimitar and Daniel, participants in a mental health court probation program, whom filmmaker Margaret Byrne befriends while investigating the treatment of detainees at Cook County Jail in Chicago, IL.
This year’s Hot Docs festival will be held virtually and online screenings are open to Canadian residents only. You can purchase tickets for the April 29th screening here.
