Post Conviction is heading to California for two upcoming screenings this fall, and audiences can watch the film virtually too.
The film is an Official Selection of the 2026 Catalina Film Festival, taking place September 25–27 in Avalon, California. Catalina’s virtual festival runs September 25 through October 4, with eligible selections available to watch online.

Then on October 22, Post Conviction will screen as an Official Selection of the San Quentin Film Festival at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center. The festival is especially meaningful for this film, which grew out of Roosevelt Myles’ decades-long fight to clear his name after a wrongful conviction and his work helping others navigate the post-conviction process.
Following the in-person San Quentin festival, Post Conviction will also be part of the festival’s virtual program beginning October 26. The film will also be made available through the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s institutional channel, giving incarcerated people in prisons across the state access to the film.

These screenings continue the film’s 2026 festival and community run and bring Post Conviction to audiences in California, including people who know the realities of incarceration and the legal system firsthand.
